Doing it Lance Armstrong style

BIKED 11 mi (stationary) , weights for the hips, some yoga
RAN 1 mile (treadmill, avg ~7:00 pace)

No, Lance Armstrong style does not mean that I dumped my faithful wife after teste cancer helped me find my new "me." And no, neither Sheryl Crow, Kate Hudson, NOR Ashley Olsen and I have gotten friendly. AND no, I did not work so hard that I matured into one of the world's top athletes - destroying the world stationary bike record. BUT, I rode a bike today, and it was hard work. (setting 18/25, 40 min total, 490 calories) No pain to the hip, so I am thinking it's a victory all the same. After the adductor and abductor exercises I did some yoga and some core strengthening.

Last Sunday, while helping Feet First relocate, I met up with our club's Bikram yoga guru, Robyn Humphrey. An accomplished athlete, Robyn is wise beyond her few years. Thus when she said I need to strengthen my core, I listened. Here is a picture of me doing my yoga in my bathing suit - assisting Ashley Olsen with her Paschimottanasana pose (or was it Mary Kate? They hate it when I mix them up.)

Then I had to get that one miler in -- just to see how the hip was doing. I brought the pace down to around 6:30 towards the end and it seemed ok. Baby steps.

You do realize identity theft is a felony, right? Or would it be internet fraud in this case? Either way, I hope you like taking it up the pooper...that's what happens in jail.

Thanks for the promo of the store and your help this weekend. Thank you also for not being the ugly parts of Lance.
