Green Running

4 miles, 7:20 pace w/ stroller

Ryan, Buster and I decided we'd release slightly fewer greenhouse gases if we ran to Blockbuster instead of driving to return Run, Fat Boy, Run.
This, of course, is debatable - considering Ryan's affinity for broccoli and Buster's famous effervescence. And this unfairly leaves me out of the calculation - but it's my blog.

The brisk 55ºF air was refreshing. I haven't taken Ryan on a run in so long - I realized today that I was missing out. His laughs and "yay daddy!'s" were the ideal therapy for marathon recovery.

The Columbia Association dues are worth every penny because of these trails. No other running scenario would work so nicely.

My hip hung on pretty pain-free with this slower pace. I am encouraged. Let's see how physical therapy goes tomorrow.
